Today in Bluebells, the children were working on direct speech. Some children were in role as the characters from the story, ‘Varjak Paw’ that we are reading. They sat in the hot seat and the rest of the class were asking the characters questions that they had thought of. The children then wrote their answers, using the correct punctuation for direct speech.
