Today in PE in Foxgloves we were learning to work as a team and were using critical thinking to find the best approach. We played a game called, “Pond Rescue” where there was an area marked out on the playground as a pond. Inside the pond were different pieces of equipment that we had to retrieve from the pond and we were only allowed to retrieve these by using either a hockey stick, a skipping rope or a hoop. Our bodies were not allowed to enter the pond. We were split into teams and had to find the best approach. We concluded that we needed to listen to others and their ideas but we also needed to be strategic in how we worked. Fantastic team work, Foxgloves!
