Snowdrops’ self portraits

The children drew the other side of their face with great detail. They looked in the mirror or at the other half of their face and completed it.Don’t they look amazing!They were then asked their favourite thing about school.
Bright bites!

Today Reception and Year 1 children had a visit from a charity called Brightbites, a lovely retired dentist spoke to our children about how to look after their teeth, he brought toothbrushes for everybody!
Caterpillar cake

Snowdrops have been reading the poem ‘caterpillar cake’, they have learned some actions to go along with it.Amazing work Snowdrops!We also filled our marble jar which meant we were able to bring the caterpillar cake to school and have our treat! It was yummy!
Skeleton

In Snowdrops we have been learning about the bones in our bodies, today we created our own skeleton.The children did very well at putting each bone where it should be in our bodies!
Snowdrops preparing for Sports day

This morning Snowdrops have been preparing to support their team for Sports Day, they have made banners and flags.Go Team Adisham!
It’s not a box

Snowdrops have been reading the book ‘It’s not a box’ and the children created their own things with their cardboard box, this shows a box is never just a box and it can be anything!

Happy Father’s Day to all the special men in our lives.Thankyou for all you do all year round, we wanted to do something special for you, so we had our own take on the song.
The very hungry caterpillar

Snowdrops have made a lovely thankyou card for one of our wonderful parents who has knitted us a beautiful hungry caterpillar set to go along with the story.
World Cup day

The children in Snowdrops have really enjoyed wearing their football kits/sports clothes for our World Cup day.
Happy 100th birthday Sir David Attenborough

Snowdrops have been very busy today crafting amazing creations of animals that you may see in your garden to celebrate Sir David Attenborough turning 100 today!We also made pieces for a whole school art mural.
