Amazing year 6

A MASSIVE well done to our amazing year 6’s this week! Their hard work, resilience and perseverance has really paid off and we couldn’t be more proud of these (now slightly soggy!) children! 🌟

Making seasonal soup

As part of our DT project we researched seasonal and local produce. Part of that was making a meal from the ingredients that we could grow locally and that were in season – we were thinking about how to eat healthily and reduce our carbon footprint at the same time!

Foxgloves – life skills

For this term foxgloves are exploring life skills in food hygiene, making breakfast and lunch. Today they made a bowl of cereal and either a cheese or ham sandwich. They did great at spreading, pouring and cutting, as well as washing their hands.

Foxgloves Science

Foxgloves are exploring the Earth, Sun and Moon and are investigating how they all orbit around each other. Working in groups to find out “why and how”! Well done Foxgloves.

Foxgloves Land Art Gallery

Today during our art project, Foxgloves were tasked with making Land Art with a meaningful message, as Miss Metcalf said, we have some very deep thinkers in Foxgloves. Very impressed with their hard work today, well done!
