Year 6 WW2 day!

Foxgloves were transported back in time to World War II and had a very enjoyable day. They became marching soldiers, children in an air raid, children at school and evacuees. They also enjoyed many artefacts, listening to stories about the war and particularly liked the huge amount of toys they got to play with.  A huge thank you to all our parents for the wonderful costumes, brown paper bag lunches, getting the children to and from school at different times and to those who kindly provided transport. Also, thank you to Mr O'Sullivan for an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.  Mr O'Sullivan said his most important message to the children is "we're all in this together."
